Dr. Brandie Ard-Boynton was born and raised in Grambling, Louisiana. Although she did not attend Grambling State University she always roots for her home teams in Louisiana, especially the New Orleans Saints, WHO DAT! Dr. Ard-Boynton received the National Health Service Corp Scholarship while attending Meharry Medical College in Nashville for her passion to serve the underserved. After graduating she worked for over 8 years with the homeless patients and patients with little to no income to provide dental health services for free or reduced rates. In her spare time, Brandie enjoys traveling, live music, attending sporting events and spending time with her charming husband Terrence and handsome son Kingston.
Dr. Ard-Boynton loves changing a patients perspective on the “dreaded” trip to the dentist. She wholeheartedly believes going to the dentist can be an enjoyable and relaxing experience.
Dr. Scott L. Huynh, DMD

Dr. Huynh was born in Vietnam, but grew up in Atlanta, GA. He attended Georgia State University where, in 2003, he received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Dr. Huynh then went on to Dental School at Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA. He joined DentFirst in July of 2011 and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. While at Georgia State University, Dr. Huynh received the Faculty Scholarship Award for academic excellence in Science.
Dr. Huynh loves to watch The Best Ever Food Review Show, The Food Ranger and Migrationology. His favorite vacation destinations are Japan and Vietnam. He spends his free time enjoying the outdoor world, including running with his Australian Shepherd dog named Rico, biking, swimming, watching and playing sports. You can find him rooting for the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Braves, and Georgia Tech.

Dr. Wakefield was born in Sandersville, Georgia and grew up in Quitman, Georgia, where he was President of the Student Government, awarded the J.B. Stevens Award for Best All-Around Student, captain of the football team, and the recipient of numerous academic awards and scholarships. While attending Fort Valley State University, he was Drum Major for the “Blue Machine” Marching Band, member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and Beta Kappa Chi Scientific Honor Society. At the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Wakefield was President of the Student National Dental Association. When not seeing patients, he can be found at weddings, churches, and Jazz clubs playing saxophone, or at charity golf tournaments.
Dr. Sarah Qureshi Iqbal

Undergraduate School: University of Georgia, 2009 – BS Psychology (Cum Laude)
Dr. Iqbal was born in Baltimore, Maryland and raised in Augusta, Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia, and in 2009, she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and graduated Cum Laude. During her four years there, she was a member of Bulldawg Da Raaj, UGA’s internationally competing Bhangra dance team. Between her studies and dance competitions, Dr. Iqbal frequently enjoyed attending football games—GO DAWGS! After completing her undergraduate degree, she moved back home to Augusta and attended GRU (formerly known as Medical College of Georgia) College of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, Dr. Iqbal was the Fundraising Coordinator for Give a Smile Foundation for three years. Give a Smile, a nonprofit organization, awards grants to assist dental patients at the College of Dental Medicine who are in financial need and cannot afford treatment. During her time there, the foundation contributed over $30,000 directly toward dental care for patients in need. Due to her commitment and dedication towards the organization, Dr. Iqbal was initiated into Alpha Upsilon Phi in 2015. AUPhi is an honorary campus society that promotes and acknowledges service and leadership activities carried out through various clubs and organizations on and off campus.
After completing dental school, Dr. Iqbal moved to Atlanta, Georgia and has been happily practicing dentistry. When not seeing patients, Dr. Iqbal enjoys her time with her handsome husband and beautiful kids. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, dancing and spending quality time with her family and friends.
